Installation of ClicSmart

Congratulations! You are on your way to a smarter home! Please follow the steps below to install your ClicSmart.

  1. Insert two AA batteries into the back of your ClicSmart Controller. A shifting sound from the internal gears indicates it is powered up.
  2. Ensure the light switch intended for ClicSmart usage is turned ON. Then, press the center of your ClicSmart multiple times to confirm it is also in the ON position.
  3. Attach the ClicSmart to the existing light switch ensuring the “TOP” sticker faces upwards. The device will magnetically attach to the switch plate.
  4. Check your installation by manually pressing the center button on the ClicSmart. It should toggle the light ON and OFF.
  5. Download the complimentary CLICSMART App from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.
  6. To enable mobile control of your lights, follow the subsequent instructions to pair your mobile device with the ClicSmart Controller Switch.
